Danny Says…
When painting a room, the work should be done in the following order:- Prep: Clean surfaces and repair any defects.
- Prime: Where needed, prime the walls and trim.
- Caulk: Fill any gaps or cracks with caulk.
- Ceiling: Paint ceiling first to prevent drips on walls.
- Walls: Apply paint to walls using a roller.
- Trim: Paint trim last to avoid roller splatter.
- Cleanup: Clean brushes and rollers, remove drop cloths, and replace furnishings.

Don't Try this at Home
As tempting as it might be to burn your backyard piles of leaves, it's not advisable. The practice is banned in many places, plus there are health consequences to consider. According to the EPA, the open burning of leaves produces particulate matter and hydrocarbons, which contain a number of toxic, irritant, and carcinogenic compounds. Leaf smoke also contains carbon monoxide. What's a better solution? Composting, which doesn't cause health or fire hazards and can be beneficial to gardens and lawns.
